Today there is really not much to write about. Filip and I woke up late after being out all night watching the World Cup match. We actually slept in quite a bit and then had to rush around to get our stuff together for spending the weekend at his parent's house.
It's raining here in Sweden and that apparently makes the summer feel like late fall or very early spring. As I type this I have on a sweatshirt and jeans. It doesn't seem to bother the Swedes any though as I still see people in shorts and tank tops. I think they are a little crazy.
Other than that I went running finally. Only a mile and a half but it is really super hilly here so it was a lot of work. Tomorrow I am going to run 5k though. Well the ice cream truck is here and Filip wants me to go out there and look for some treats.
What are the temperatures?
ReplyDeleteDid you find the camera charger?
Will Filip run with you or would he not be able to keep up?

"As a vegan or vegetarian, you will find a lot of us on ekostore. We have tofu and soyaprodukter in all shapes and flavors, such as cold cuts, burgers or sausages. In addition, there are many different flavors of milk and soyayoghurt options to choose from. Do not forget to look in other parts of the store after including fresh pastas without animal content, our good Streich-pies, Bruch studio, pesto and many varieties of candy without gelatine.
If you eat dairy products, we offer many cheeses with vegetable rennet."
Filip runs faster than me no matter what his legs are like a gazillion miles long so he goes much faster with less effort although once I get used to the hills around here I will be able to run more distance than he can.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't found the adapter for the camera charger but once I do I will be taking lots of pictures. and thanks for the veggie info I need to find good veg protein sources other than beans and tofu.
Don't forget brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa, all nuts and seeds. If you are eating enough calories you are most likely getting enough protein unless you are on the potato chip and soda vegetarian diet.
ReplyDeleteDr Greger has his new DVD out. I'll buy it and send you a copy. (http://www.drgreger.org/DVDs/#2010) I need your address in email or FB message.
I am so glad you have this blog. It is wonderful to know you are there safely and to hear about your adventures. Thanks for taking the time to write on it. If I were to describe Annapolis for this past week in a word it is "HOT". We need your rain so send it over from Sweden!
